Car wash fundraisers
Every Saturday until the end of eternity.
Usually 10 am to 4 pm, weather permitting, at the West Valley School District administration building at 2704 N Argonne, and sometimes at other locations too.
The Band is headed to the Washington, D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in the spring of 2006 and fund raising is needed to pay for travel and hotel accomodations. As well as to help fund other band activities!

The WVHS Marching Band Weblog
This is the newsletter section of the WVHS Band web site. This newsletter is in the form of a "web log" or "weblog" or just "blog". News and information about band activities are posted here, in reverse chronological order. In English, that means the newest information is at the top and the oldest information is at the bottom, where it eventually falls off into the "archives".

How to link to wvbands.org
Hey students - you can now add a link to your favorite high school band web site from your MySpace, LiveJournal, FaceBook pages. More logos will be added over time - here are the first two - send us your designs!
To add the following graphic and link:
Copy and paste the following HTML code into your web page:

About the 2007 Fundraising Raffle
THIS RAFFLED HAS ENDED winners have been announced.
The WVHS Band Boosters are selling raffle tickets for $5.00 each for a chance to win:
1st prize - Gus Johnson Ford: 2007 Ford Focus
2nd prize - Columbia Tractor: Polaris ATV Trailboxx 330
3rd price - Columbia Tractor: John Deere Riding Lawn Mower, Model LA110
Tickets are being sold by band parents and others at various events. You can also contact us through this web site to purchase one or more raffle tickets.
