All State Band this coming weekend

Congratulations to Amanda McLaughlin (Flute) and Gavin Mitchell (Trumpet) for being selected as members of the 2008 All-State Band. They will perform with the finest high school musicians from the state of Washington on Monday in Yakima. Best of luck! ... Mr. Jim Loucks.

1st Place (Amanda McLaughlin) - will compete at State Competition (April 2008 - CWU - Ellensburg)

CLARINET DIVISION
2nd Place (Aspen Wolff) - 1st alternate to State Competition

CONTRALTO CLARINET DIVISION
2nd Place (Renee Anthony) - 1st alternate to State Competition

SMALL BRASS ENSEMBLE DIVISION
2nd Place (Chris Babinski/Clint Slovarp - French Horn Duet) - 1st alternate to State Competition

SNARE DRUM DIVISION
3rd Place (Corey King) - 2nd alternate to State Competition
