Selected videos from the Everett, WA Puget Sound Festival of Bands marching band competition will appear here over the next few days. Keep checking back over the next several days.

Other Spokane schools: Mt Spokane

Other Spokane schools: Mt Spokane 2nd place AAA Division and Mead 1st place Open class. Did not record the place for University High School. All 4 participating Spokane schools placed in the top 12.

PUGET SOUND FESTIVAL OF BANDS – SCHEDULE HAS BEEN CHANGED!

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! MAJOR EVERETT SCHEDULE CHANGES
  • WVHS's performance has been moved to 12:55 PM on Saturday.
  • WVHS will be staying at Eisenhower Middle School (this is a change from previous schedule)
  • Saturday's schedule for loading and departing to Memorial Stadium, as well as after, have been changed.
For details please see this REVISED PDF of detailed Everett schedule.

Updates, possibly video and photos to appear here on the web site this Saturday depending on the afternoon schedule at Memorial Stadium. So check back here mid to late Saturday afternoon with finals updates into the evening, if possible.

Everett - Puget Sound Festival of Bands Schedule

  • Link to PDF of detailed Everett schedule. NOTE: SCHEDULE CHANGE - WV performs at 12:55 pm not 1:10 pm as shown in the schedule.
  • The event is held at the Everett Memorial Stadium (in case of rain, this stadium has a roof over most of the stadium stands) this coming Saturday.
  • Map to the stadium
  • West Valley performs on the field at 12:55 pm.
  • Depending on the afternoon schedule, we may have a "first look" video posted here on Saturday.

  • Preliminary competition performances occur throughout the day. The top 12 bands advance to Finals competition in the evening followed by the awards ceremony.

Monday morning zero hour rehearsal is canceled

The zero hour rehearsal for band on Monday morning, October 19th is canceled - your band director encourages every one to get rested after the competition weekend.

There will, however, be a band rehearsal on Monday evening.

  • High Drum Majors
West Valley won 4 of the 6 caption awards.

AA Division
Technical issues caused problems this week. Some of the videos have a "soft appearance" lacking in detail and not sharp as they should be due to an obscure technical issue. Plus newly updated encoding software had an audio defect affecting all but WV; most of the others have been re-mastered to fix that.
