Some updates about this web site
Director's Notes Feature
Due to technology changes at Google's Blogger/Blogspot service, Blogger will no longer be able to support the Director's Notes feature on this web site, the CMS Band web site and the Beginning Bands web site.
Blogger plans to discontinue the features we use for the Notes feature as of May 1st. I am looking into alternative solutions. Their changes do not effect any other part of this web site, fortunately.
Band Videos
In the left column of this page are links to the 2007 and 2008 marching band videos, including other high school performances at Pasco, Everett, Auburn and Yakima, plus various other videos including past parades and performances from many past years. Those videos are hosted on the Veoh.com video service. Unfortunately, Veoh.com is going out of business.
Most of those videos will be re-uploaded to Facebook's video service which allows for longer videos than does YouTube (limit 10 minutes max). Due to the huge quantity and large size of the video files, these updates will occur over a few months.
All of the Facebook videos will be "public"; however, you can also join Facebook and get the videos and all updates to the wvbands.org web site in your daily Facebook update.
