Reminder that the end of the year Mirabeau Park Concert and BBQ will be Wednesday May 19 starting at 5pm. Each person is asked to bring an item. The flyer is on the web site if you are not sure what you need to bring along with your own chairs and drinks. This BBQ is free but it does cost the boosters to rent the park and other costs. We will be doing a pass the hat type of donation like we did last year to help offset some of these cost.

Update May 20th:

The weather held off just long enough for us to have a wonderful time in the Park. It was fun cooking 200 hamburgers and about 140 hotdogs. We had a tremendous turnout and a great time. I am sorry if you missed it. You missed some good food and a good show by the 5th grade band and our great WV band and Jazz Band.

Thanks to Lamont Cloy and Mark Jackson for helping cook, Mr. Loucks and Mr. Bosch for helping serve, Barry Kivett, Mark Jackson, and other parents that helped haul over band equipment, Janet Stutzman, Pam Hansen for helping clean up, and to all the parents and families that brought the extras.
